Update, 9:45 p.m.: The chance of storms continues Monday, with a 40% chance during the day and 60% chance Monday night.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Montgomery County is currently under a severe thunderstorm watch as of 1:35 p.m. The watch is in effect until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Reports say storms were located moving along a line extending from Big Rock to McEwen to Hurricane Mills moving east at 50 miles per hour. The radar indicated 60 mile per hour wind gusts, damage to roofs, siding and tress expected.
After tonight, storms are expected to roll over into Monday as well. However, work week weather is expected to be mostly sunny.
Storms and a 40% chance of rain is anticipated on Monday. Meanwhile, there is a 60% chance of rain Monday night.
The rest of the week has been predicted to be sunny with clear skies. Highs are estimated in the mid 80’s and the low is estimated in the mid 60’s.
