Update, 11:30 a.m.: Montgomery County remains under a Flash Flood Warning until noon.

Thunderstorms have been producing very heavy rain across the warned area, with up to 3 inches of rain in the past hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for southeastern Montgomery County, northern Cheatham County, and southwestern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee until 11 a.m.

At 10:26 a.m. severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of Clarksville, moving east at 45 mph with possible 60 mph gusts.

The storms will continue impacting our area through 11:30 a.m.
