UPDATE: Severe Thunderstorm Warning expires in Montgomery County

Update, 8:05 p.m.: The warning for Montgomery County has been extended until 8:30 p.m.

Update, 7:45 p.m.: The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Montgomery County has been extended until 8:15 p.m.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A severe thunderstorm is moving across Montgomery County with possible golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

“People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings,” the NWS said.

We are under a warning until 7:45 p.m.
