CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) –

The storm system should start after midnight tonight in Clarksville, with south winds of 15-25 mph and gusts around 35-40 mph, according to a hazardous weather alert from the National Weather Service.

The storm will then move through Clarksville before noon Wednesday.

“There is a marginal risk of strong to severe storms on Wednesday afternoon into the early evening hours Wednesday night for almost all of Middle Tennessee,” the alert said. “Main concern will be strong to damaging wind gusts. The formation of isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out, either.”

Things should clear up by Thanksgiving, with sunny skies and highs around 60.
