CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Freeze Watch will be in effect Monday night through Tuesday for Montgomery and surrounding counties.
With a low of 26 Monday night in Clarksville, the NWS Freeze Watch will be in effect from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. Frost and freeze conditions will also be expected again Tuesday night.

“Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes, they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing,” the NWS alert said.

Monday night: Clear, with a low around 26. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Widespread frost before 8 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 51. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday night: Widespread frost after midnight. Otherwise, clear, with a low around 27. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Wednesday: Widespread frost before 8 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 55. Light west northwest wind becoming west 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
