Update, 10:45 a.m.: In Kentucky, a Flash Flood Warning has been issued for northeastern Christian County and central Todd County until 1:45 p.m.

At 10:43 a.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A Flood Watch has been issued for Montgomery and surrounding counties until 1 p.m. today.

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible, according to the National Weather Service.

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected today, with locally higher amounts possible, following heavy rainfall on Thursday.

“Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations,” the NWS said.
