CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – With temperatures expected to dip below 30 in Clarksville again tonight, another Freeze Warning has been issued, from 1-9 a.m. Wednesday.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 27 expected across Middle Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service.

“Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing,” the NWS said.
“Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.”
Overnight lows should ease off to around 30 Wednesday night, then warm to around 40 Thursday night.
