Wayne Alan Jones II, age 43 of Clarksville, departed this life on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.
He was born June 4, 1978 in Waukegan, Ill. and was the eldest of two sons to Valerie A. Brown and the late Wayne A. Jones.
Wayne attended school in Waukegan until 1989, when the family moved to San Diego, Calif. He has held numerous positions from cook to press operator and has developed many skills.
He was the comedian of his family and always kept them laughing. Wayne was an adventurous, fun-loving young man who brought laughter and excitement to those he met. He adored his family, friends and life as he lived it. He was the life of any party and was a devoted friend to those around him. His favorite color was blue, and he loved his sneakers, Jeopardy and sports.
Wayne leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving mother, Valerie (Billy) Brown; a faithful brother, Blake C. Jones; son, Caleb Jones; daughters, Sincere Jones, Shyanne Jones, and their mother, Nan (Victor) Payne, Nicolette Jones Huff and her mother, Nicolle Huff; aunts, Jo (Vic Huff) Bryant, Jennifer S. Kneeland, Brinda Turner, Machella (Bernard) Rogers, Marie Jones, Hilda Ransom and Geraldine Jones; uncles, Joel (Regilia) Bryant, Jeffrey S. Kneeland, Keith E. Bryant, Joel Orr and James (Sherri) Turner, as well a large host of cousins, friends and acquaintances.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Anne Kneeland and Joel E. Bryant and paternal grandparents, William and Myetta Turner.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 3 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday, July 3 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
