Have you ever thought about becoming a scuba diver?
Now’s the perfect time to start!
Waterdogs Scuba & Safety is now offering a free “Introduction to Open Water Diver” course via e-learning where you can dive into knowledge straight out of the full certification class.
After that, if you still aren’t 100% convinced, for only $40 you can do a “Discover Scuba” course, go with a PADI Instructor to the pool and try it hands-on.
Then you can use the $40 you spent on Discover Scuba towards your full certification.
There are so many reasons to become a scuba diver. The list is endless, but Waterdog has narrowed it down to a few big reasons.
- Swim Through History: There are thousands of wrecked ships and aircraft that you can only see if you journey under the waves.
- Experience Weightlessness: Only two times in our life can we experience weightlessness (unless NASA is in our profession). One is being a wee babe in the womb and the other is when you go scuba diving.
- Explore Parts of the World that Many Don’t Get to See: The ocean makes up about 71 percent of the earth and only 1% of people are Scuba Divers. You do the math.
- It’s Peaceful Underwater: Underwater there’s no phones, no crying babies, no car horns honking, etc.
- A Community Like No Other: From day one of class, you’re brought into another family. Anywhere you go, divers will welcome you in.
- Another Travel Activity: Now, wherever you go on vacation, not only can you go and check out the local tourist stops, but you can make a stop to the local reefs to check out the wildlife.
- It’s a Lifelong Activity: From 10-years-old all the way up to 90, divers come in every variety. Because of the versatility of equipment and training, anyone can do it as long as they are in good cardiac and pulmonary health.
- The Great Equalizer: Daily activity can be hard due to physical limitations, weight, or age, but scuba, being the great equalizer, is something almost everyone can do.
- It’s Easy: The only skills that you are going to need is to swim and breathe! Everything else will be taught by one of our professional instructors.
