CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas and Water has planned a water outage on Red River Street on Friday at 9:00 a.m. to replace a water valve.
Residents along Red River Street from Arctic Street to Frosty Morn Drive and from Frosty Morn to College Street will be affected by the water outage. Low water pressure may also affect area residents.
The work is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 1:00 p.m.
The road will be open to traffic.
Another water outage is planned for Monday, October 12 at 9:00 p.m. on Madison Street near the Highway 76 intersection for water main line work.
Construction crews will be working on the north side of Madison Street and plan to turn off water service on Madison between Richview Road and the Starbucks property until approximately 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Clarksville Gas and Water offices, Sonic Drive In, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Burger King, Starbucks and all tenants in Miss Lucille’s Café and Marketplace building will be affected by the water outage.
Area businesses may also experience low water pressure during the work.
The road will be passable.
