CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Black Hawk helicopters touched down on the Dunn Center Lawn at Austin Peay State University Friday, September 21, 2018.

The helicopters were flown in so that APSU’s ROTC could train. “What we’re doing is rehearsals for an operation we’re going to be conducting,” Captain Walt Rausch, Assistant Professor of Military Science at APSU, said. “We’re doing what’s called cold load training. That’s when the UH60’s – the Black Hawks – come in, they land, they shut down, and they’re going to be training our cadets on entry and exit procedures.”
