CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been accused of firing shots into a vehicle with a woman and her 3-year-old child inside.
According to an arrest warrant, the victim said she was driving on Chapel Street when she saw a man sitting on a porch, who then stood up and pointed a handgun at her. The woman told police her car was hit by gunfire and some of the rounds went through her open windows.
The victim’s 3-year-old son was also in the car. It is unclear if anyone was injured.
Police found four .380 caliber shell casings at the scene and noticed bullet holes in the side of the victim’s car.
Officers identified the suspect as 23-year-old Robert Jackson. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set at $500,000.
