CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Kentucky man has been charged after allegedly recording videos of women in public without their consent.

According to an arrest warrant, police were called to the Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. on Jan. 1, 2017. A loss prevention officer said he watched the suspect walking around and recording videos of women on his phone several times. At one point he said he saw the suspect record a female Walmart employee.

The suspect, 37-year-old Jeremy L. Stinson, agreed to let the officer look through his phone when confronted. The officer found 21 different videos of women who were wearing yoga pants dating back to Aug. 14, 2016. The camera was held in a position that made it appear as if it was hidden.

Police said all the videos focused on the buttocks of the women and were recorded in public stores without the consent of those being recorded.

Stinson admitted to owning the phone and taking the videos. He was arrested and charged with unlawful photography. His bond was set at $10,000.
