CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been charged with rape of a child after a witness found a video of the assault on his phone.

According to an arrest warrant, the witness went through the suspect’s phone while he was sleeping and found a video of the suspect, 18-year-old Keyon D. Galler, having sex with a child under the age of 10.

The witness said he forwarded the video to his personal phone out of fear that Galler would delete it when confronted.

An investigator said in the arrest warrant that the video does show Galler forcibly raping the child, who was crying and in pain.

Police conducted an interview with Galler, who initially denied the allegations, but admitted to raping the child on four or five occasions after police said they had seen the video.

He said he deleted the videos after an altercation with the witness, who had confronted him. However, police found four videos on his phone. The dates of the videos ranged from September 4-14, 2016.

Galler was charged with four counts of child rape. His bond was set at $250,000.
