CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The spirit of Christmas takes many forms over the holidays and Warm Souls Christmas from Radical Mission Compassionate Ministries is one of those that memories are made of.
Hundreds of people in need, homeless, and financially struggling families in the community gathered at the Hilldale Baptist Church Family Life Center on Christmas Eve to celebrate the joy of Christmas. Over 1,200 people were expected to be helped by around 800 volunteers.
Along with a holiday meal there was free clothing, toys, and household goods for all those in need.
Haircuts by professional stylists and Christmas family portraits were also offered at the event. The Clarksville Transit System was also part of the celebration, providing free transportation to and from the event.
