CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an attempted burglary at an EZ Market last month.
The incident occurred Dec. 1, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m. It happened at the EZ Market at 1801 E. Boy Scout Road. Officers responded after a burglary alarm was triggered at the business.
Surveillance video shows a man trying to force entry into the store, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, red pants, dark-colored shoes and a black backpack. Investigators say the suspect broke the door handle with his hands, then used a nearby piece of wood to pry at the door before setting off the alarm.
