CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing about $28,000 through identity theft and fraud.

The victim report that the money was withdrawn from his bank account through three fraudulent transactions on June 6, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

Police obtained surveillance video they say showed a man wearing a ball cap, a light blue long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants making one of the withdrawals. Investigators said the suspect used fraudulent identification to access the victim’s account.
