Update, Feb. 6, 2024: The Clarksville Police Department has arrested Tillman for an outstanding Criminal Simulation warrant.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police are asking for public’s help locating a man who has made several fraudulent purchases using counterfeit cash on Facebook Marketplace.

On different occasions back in August 2023, Laquinton Tillman, 30, conducted several fraudulent transactions using counterfeit money to purchase items that were listed for sale on Facebook marketplace according to CPD spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.

Tillman frequently meets the victims in the Cobalt Drive area, then quickly pays for the items and leaves before the victim realizes the money is fake. Tillman has a criminal simulation warrant for his arrest, and other charges are pending.

CPD is asking for anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Tillman to call 911 or Detective Neal at 931-648-0656, ext. 5538.
