Wanda Sue Gattis, age 76 of Clarksville passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Sue was born October 27, 1944, in Clarksville, TN to the late Horace W. Davis and Kathryn Marie Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Billy O. Gattis; brother, Charles Irwin Davis; sisters: Dorothy Marie Mann, Martha Jean Davis. She is survived by her son, Jerry P. Stewart; daughter, Gina Beth Allen; brothers: William D. Davis, James P. Davis; grandchildren, Kathryn Clara (Philip) Allen Gardner, Macy Alana Allen, Jaxon P. Stewart, and Jakob P. Stewart.

Wanda Sue was a vibrant, loving woman always full of life. After graduating from Clarksville High School, Sue had a varied career from learning to hang wallpaper, painting houses, waitressing, working at the bookstore, and Acme Boot. She cared for her parents before their passing, her husband before his passing, her children, and grandchildren for many years. A kind-hearted soul caring for many neighbors, most notably neighbor Mrs. Primm who lived to the age of 104. Sue loved to travel the world visiting destinations near and far such as Japan, Australia, Hawaii, and US National Parks with both her friends and family. She loved dancing and entertaining in her historic family home over the years. She was a beloved homemaker and caretaker to all that knew her spreading love to everyone she met and will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, March 8, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Bro. Louie Montoya officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, March 7, 2021, from 4 p.m.to 7 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and Monday, March 8, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scott Key, Tommy Key, Christopher Key, Steven Neblett, Jaxon Stewart, and Jakob Stewart.
