Wanda Lou Gooch, age 88, passed away on August 8, 2021, at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home.
She was born in Littleton, Colo. to Harold and Ada Danford Whitcomb. She was a member of the Eastern Star and loved her dachshund, Brownie.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert E. Gooch.
Wanda is survived by her son, Thomas (Sherry) Gooch; daughters, Donna (Brian) Folk and Gail (John) Donahue; and grandchildren, Angela Gooch, Heather Gooch and Daniel Hosse.
A celebration of her life will be held at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12 at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, and burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
