Walter Brian Maxwell, 74, of Cumberland Furnace, TN, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
Walter was born on June 10, 1940 in Brazoria, TX to the late Walter Maxwell and Marion Barth Maxwell.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Walter was a Retired Lt. Col. with the U.S. Air Force. He was a pilot for Evergreen and chief pilot for Polar Air Cargo.
Walter is survived by his wife, Tammie Maxwell of Cumberland Furnace, TN; son, Steven Maxwell of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Michelle McLean of Clarksville, TN; brother, Lawrence Maxwell of Houston, TX; sister, Jean Broaddus of New Braunfels, TX; and grandson, Ethan Cereceres.
