Walter Jewel Daniel was born on May 16, 1943, in Clarksville, Tennessee to the union of Sylvester and Ophelia Daniel. He departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee.
Walter accepted Christ at an early age and united with St. Paul Baptist Church. He received his formal education in Tennessee Public Schools, attending J.K. Dixon in Cunningham, Tennessee.
Walter enlisted in the United States Army serving his country for 5 plus years and receiving an honorable discharge. He married Marion V. Talley on July 5, 1969, they enjoyed 53 years together until his passing.
Walter was employed with State Industries and Ryder, as a Truck Driver, until his retirement.
Walter was preceded in death by Percy Daniel, Fredrick Daniel, Alice Gibson and Clifford Daniel.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife, Marion Daniel; sons, Dwayne (Sharon) Daniel, Derick (Janise) Daniel, Sylvester (Melissa) Daniel, Christopher (Shatakia) Daniel; grandchildren, Jamal Daniel, Demonta Daniel, Donta (Heather) Daniel, Fantasia Johnson, Brona Daniel, Isaiah Daniel, Deairay Daniel, Nylah Daniel, Isaac Daniel, Virginia Daniel; great grandchildren, Zachriah Nesbitt, Miya Daniel, Pierre Daniel; sister, Lillian Hatcher; close friends Jenkins Talley, Anthony W, Robert Lyle, Bill Lyle, and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
