CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Walmart on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard was evacuated – with customers and employees alike sent out onto the frigid parking lot – Thursday afternoon over a called-in bomb threat.
At about 3:25 p.m., someone who sounded like a young male teenager called and made the threat, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.
Walmart management decided to evacuate, and Clarksville Police responded to assist.
No explosive device has been found, but police are asking the public to avoid the area until the situation can be cleared.
