Update, 4:04 p.m.: After accessing the scene, CPD said that the suspicious package located at the Walmart Market on Tiny Town Road has been determined to be a temperature probe that resembled an explosive device, said Beaubien.
“The area has been cleared, and the market has resumed business as usual. Thank you to the public for your patience while officers ensured the safety of everyone in the area,” he said.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is responding to the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Tiny Town Road after receiving a 911 call regarding a suspicious package located inside the store.
Walmart management, at 408 Tiny Town Rd, have evacuated the building, and CPD has blocked off the entrance to the store, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area until the situation has been resolved.
