CLARKSVILLE, TN – Do you have a passion for working with others? Do you enjoy helping others? Are you a great storyteller who loves sharing knowledge with others? If yes to any of these, we need you to help make the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum the best in the Army!
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to serve in a variety of roles in the US Army Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum, opening May 15. A variety of volunteer opportunities available in the museum, including:
- Welcome Ambassadors
- Docents
- Gift Shop Staff
Welcome ambassadors are the visitors first contact in the museum, providing a warm welcome and general information and assistance to all visitors.
Gift Shop volunteers assist the gift shop manager with operating the gift shop within the museum raising funds to support the museum.
Docents are the heart of our organization, providing information on exhibits, guided tours and educational experiences for visitors of all ages. As a docent, you will share your love of the Army and Fort Campbell with the public, help bring our exhibits to life through engaging and informative tours and create memorable experiences for school groups, families, and tourists.
No prior military experience is necessary, and schedules are extremely flexible. We will provide the necessary training to equip you with all the knowledge and skills you need to be a successful as a volunteer or docent. You must be over 18 and have a driver’s license but do not need a DoD ID Card.
