Virginia Vanleer, age 74 of Clarksville died Tuesday, October 15,2013 at her residence.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013, with the family present from 6 p.m. – 8p.m.
She was born December 8, 1938 in Montgomery County,TN to the late Lawson Moss and Lucy Willis Pettus. She was a 1956 graduate of the Historical Burt High School. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church and employed by Mable Larson and Joston, INC. She was preceeded in death by her husband William “Buck” Vanleer.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Denise(Ricky)Hall and Rita V. Daniels both of Clarksville,TN;brothers,Lawson Moss,Jr Sacramento,CA and James L. Moss Clarksville,TN; aunt Mary Pink Moore and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
