CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police are asking the public to help to identify two suspects involved in multiple shoplifting incidents.
The suspects are described as a white male and white female.
On Jan. 24 at 3:14 p.m., officers responded to a shoplifting call at 130 South Hampton Place (Academy Sports) that occurred between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 pm.
An Academy Sports employee said an unknown male suspect entered the store and stole a Yeti Hopper cooler ($350) and Beats headphones ($300) totaling a $650 loss for the business.
Employees, as well as video footage, observed the male suspect enter the store, take the items, and leave through the back emergency exit doors.
Upon viewing the footage, officers were able to determine that this same suspect was involved in a separate shoplifting incident at Books-A-Million (125 South Hampton Place) that occurred between 11:22 a.m. and 12:50 p.m. on the same day.
Video footage provided shows the theft at Books-A-Million.
The suspects were last seen driving a red or burgundy full-size pick-up truck with a Realtree decal on it.
The white male suspect is approximately 5’6″, 180 pounds, partly bald, and was wearing a hat, gray hoodie, and blue jeans.
The white female suspect is approximately 5’4″, 140 pounds, has brown hair, and was wearing black leggings, a quarter-sleeve gray Batman shirt, and tan boots that resembled Uggs.
