CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Candidates for public office have been discussing the top issues for the last few weeks as part of Clarksville’s Conversation.
This week, Kiran Sreepada, the Democratic candidate for Congress, District 7, sat down with us to discuss health care, immigration and the coronavirus relief bill.
He spoke particularly about his ideas on “proactive government,” in which government invests in infrastructure, education and health care in order to bring long-term improvements to the economy.
Sreepada is running against incumbent Republican Congressman Mark Green. Green declined to participate in the discussion.
