CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville mom and her daughter are enjoying the viral ride as their Daytona Slingshot video continues to rack up views.
The Daytona Beach, FL thrill ride is known for posting videos of customers as they are propelled more than 300 feet into the air at 100 miles per hour. With speeds like that, things are bound to come off – including Charlene Hill’s wig.
Though it wasn’t Charlene’s idea to get on the ride, she has taken it in stride and is enjoying all of the positive attention surrounding the now-viral video.
“My daughter (Amaya) wasn’t scared at all. She thought it was the coolest thing! The best part was being able to share that moment with my daughter,” Hill said.
The video has been viewed nearly 15 million times on Facebook.
Charlene and Amaya were also featured on the hit ABC show Right This Minute this week.
Everyone is wondering…did Charlene get her wig back? The answer is yes, she did, though it may have been a little worse for wear.
