CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Police have released a video of two vehicles that could provide leads in the January 4 shooting death of James Brown at 831 Isaac Dr.
Investigators say unknown assailants knocked on the front door of the residence shortly before 8 p.m.
Brown exited and was overheard by occupants of the home having a conversation, followed by gunshots.
Brown stumbled back into the residence and died from his injuries.
A black male wearing an orange shirt with short braids was seen running from the residence and entering a silver vehicle that fled from the scene.
Investigators are seeking to speak with the owners of two vehicles. The first is a single cab truck believed to be a Chevrolet or GMC full-size truck that appears to be dark in color and having chrome bed rails and mirrors. The other vehicle is only identified as a dark colored sedan.
