CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police and Clarksville Fire Rescue are investigating a car fire in West Clarksville that happened in an abandoned wrecked car.
Engine 6 and Rescue 6 were dispatched to a vehicle fire at the intersection of Britton Springs and Hadley Dr., according to Michael Rios, PIO for Clarksville Fire.
The driver of the vehicle had fled the scene before arrival. The vehicle was damaged due to the wreck, not they were unsure if that caused the fire or if it started by other means.
Clarksville Police are looking for the vehicle’s owner and/or driver.
