Victoria “Louise” Murphy, age 90, of Clarksville, TN, died Thursday, November 28, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
She was born in Lawrence County, TN, to the late Noah M. Legg and Eva Thomas Legg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Paul Murphy.
Louise was a receptionist at Dr. Murphy’s office and a member of Hilldale Baptist Church.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30 at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Chris Camp officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was from noon until the hour of service, Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Jayson Hayes, Chris Hayes, Barry Murphy, Michael Murphy, Charlie Hood, and Mike Parchman.
Louise is survived by two sons, Mike Murphy (Kim), of Hixson, TN, and Tommy Murphy (Libby), of Clarksville; one daughter, Paula Ford (Eddie), of Dover, TN; five grandchildren, Jayson Hayes, Chris Hayes, Michael Murphy, Barry Murphy, and Amy Swygert; and nine great-grandchildren.
