Victor Morales-Ortiz, age 84, passed away at his residence in Clarksville, on July 11, 2014. He was born on April 9, 1930 in Albonito, Puerto Rico to the late Zoillo Morales and Maria Ortiz-Morales.
Mr. Morales-Ortiz was retired from the United States Army and worked as an aviation mechanic.
He is survived by two sons, Victor R. Morales of Hammond, IN; and Miguel A. Morales of Brunswick, GA; two daughters, Maria I. Morales, and Keila E. Llanos-Sanchez of Clarksville. He is also survived by one brother, Carlos Ortiz of Puerto Rico.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, July 14th and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday, July 15th at Gateway Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 335 Franklin Street, Clarksville, TN. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday July 15th at Gateway Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at noon in Kentucky Veterans’ Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
