CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a victim in the leg.
According to an arrest warrant, 18-year-old Gustavio Gene Rousseau went to the victim’s home Aug. 8 to get marijuana and confront the victim about a dispute involving some sort of theft. He was armed with a Bowie-style knife at the time.
The warrant says while the two were weighing the marijuana and discussing the dispute, Rousseau pulled out the knife and stabbed the victim in the femoral artery.
The victim was transported by air for medical treatment.
Rousseau’s arrest warrant says he admitted to stabbing the victim. He was charged with aggravated assault and his bond was set at $5,000.
