CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man has been arrested after allegedly robbing a victim that did not want to purchase fake marijuana.

According to an arrest warrant, the victim met the suspect, 32-year-old Benjamin Plumley, at the Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Walmart parking lot with the intent of purchasing alcohol.

Plumley instead offered the victim fake marijuana, which the victim did not want and refused to buy.

Plumley allegedly threatened to hurt the victim if he didn’t give him $80. The victim told police he was going to eventually give him the money out of fear but decided to walk toward the store. He said Plumley got out of his vehicle, chased him, and caught him at the entrance.

A fight ensued and Plumley grabbed the money from the victim’s hand.

Plumley was arrested and charged with robbery. His bond was set at $25,000. He has an extensive criminal history, according to ClarksvilleNow.com archives.
