Vice presidential candidate Kaine to headline fundraiser in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine will appear at a fundraiser on Tuesday in Nashville.

Former Nashville mayoral candidate Bill Freeman will host the event at Valentino’s Ristorante near West End Avenue and Lyle Avenue.

50 to 60 Democratic contributors are expected to attend the private dinner and reception.

Attending the event requires a couple to make a minimum donation of $10,000.

The event is part of a large fundraising push on the part of the Clinton campaign, which will host 43 events in 14 states before Labor Day.
