CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- The Montgomery County Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) hosted a Graduation Ceremony at 1 p.m. on August 11 at the Montgomery County Court Complex for those who recently completed the program successfully.
Judge Kenneth Goble and the Veterans Treatment Court Team joined guest speaker, Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett and State Representative Joe Pitts in congratulating the graduates and their families.
Judge Goble talked about the importance of the program as a resource for veterans and also gave remarks about the late CW2 Jason Gosz and CW3 Michael Mannion, who both passed away in June if this year while participating in the VTC.
Mayor Durrett spoke about the important role that a positive attitude and the support of family and friends can have in guiding veterans like those going through the program.
Each of the graduates shared speeches about their time with the VTC, and Judge Goble, Mayor Durrett and Rep. Pitts presented them with certificates and coins of recognition.
The graduates were: Jason Bean, Michael Cromar, John Dorch, Caleb Keller, Javonne Love, Christopher Najdowski and Shawn Williams.
