Verlin Ray Kemper, 71, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Verlin was born on August 11, 1945, in Boyd County, KY to the late Ruben Kemper and Georgia Workman Kemper. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lynn Engler Kemper.
Verlin was cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery.
Verlin was a Retired Auto Mechanic with Guthrie Auto.
Verlin is survived by two sons, Brian Halbrooks of Clinton Township, MI and James Ray Halbrooks of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Victoria Halbrooks of Oak Grove, KY; two sisters, Brenda Tackett and Pamela Cooper of Ashland, KY; ten grandchildren, Daniel Halbrooks, Joshua Halbrooks, Matthew Halbrooks, Justin Halbrooks, Ashley Halbrooks, Zackary Daughtrey, Jacob Daughtrey, Lucas Daughtrey, Alec Cruz, and Megan Cruz; and two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Halbrooks and Lillie Halbrooks.
