Venna Imogene “Imy” Hazlett, 82, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at her residence.
Venna was born on July 22, 1932 in Red Bay, AL to the late James Arthur Lindley and Annie Mae Hagood Lindley. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Travis Lindley; son-in-law, Dennis C. Richards; and her grandson, Robert Warren “Robby” Guy.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Interment will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY.
Venna is survived by her husband, Dean Thompson Hazlett of Clarksville, TN; son, Tony (Dinah) Hazlett of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Pamela Richards of Gadsden, AL and Ruth Ann (Robert) Guy of Ashland City, TN; three brothers, James (Ann) Lindley, McArthur (Linda) Lindley, and Bill Lindley; three sisters, Ida Hulon, Carolyn Borden, and Peggy Branscome; sister-in-law, Barbara Lindley; four grandchildren, Elizabeth (Matt) Couts, Jessica (Mel Thomas) McLendon, Anthony Hazlett, and Jeremy Guy; and two great grandchildren, Mallory Couts and Allison Couts.
