Velma Morgan, age 94 of Big Rock, Tenn., went to be with the Lord Monday, July 26, 2021.

She was born June 15, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Lurline Moore. She enjoyed family gatherings and visiting with her neighbors and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her life touched many lives and will be dearly missed by family and friends. She was a faithful Christian woman and served the Lord as a member of Indian Mound United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Ray Morgan; son, Kenneth Morgan; grandson, Justin Morgan; five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her loving children, Ronnie Morgan (Amy), Donnie Morgan (Pansy) and Wayne Morgan, all of Big Rock; sister; Sue Goodrich, of Clarksville; daughter-in-law, Elaine Luton (Mike); special friend, Wanda Sexton; grandchildren; Bobby Morgan (Kim), Jason Morgan (Julie), Nicole Farrell (Brandon); and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 29 at 2 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Cemetery in Bumpus Mills, Tenn.

Those serving as pallbearers are Bobby Morgan, Nicholas Morgan, Jason Morgan, Bristol Morgan, Brandon Farrell and Wayne Morgan.
