CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is currently investigating a serious single vehicle crash on the 41 A Bypass at the Green Mile parking lot.
A vehicle ran off the road and hit a light pole head on, according to Sgt. Charles Gill. The driver of the vehicle, Barbi Tarpy of Waverly, Tennessee and a passenger, Stacy Warren of Clarksville, both had to be extricated from the vehicle by Clarksville Fire Rescue and Montgomery County EMS. Both women were hospitalized and were reported to be in critical condition Tuesday night.
There was no updated information available as of Wednesday morning on the cause of the crash. Clarksville Police are continuing their investigation into the crash and are asking anyone with information to contact Fatal Crash Investigator Larry Harris with the Clarksville Police Department.
