Vehicle fire reported Monday near Exit 1

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A vehicle fire was reported Monday, March 31 around 4 p.m. near Exit 1 on I-24 in Clarksville.

The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) and Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to the scene.

According to Officer Natalie Hall with CPD, the fire was extinguished before 5 p.m., and no one was in the vehicle at the time. No injuries were reported.

The incident caused traffic delays in the area for about an hour.

The cause of the fire has not been released. There is no further information at this time.
