CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Police report that nine vandalisms occurred between late evening August 18 and early morning August 19 in Clarksville.
The incidents were in close proximity to one another and used similar methods to cause damage; namely, rocks and concrete. A couple of victims said they heard the vandalism taking place and the sound of a vehicle accelerating with a loud muffler.
Surveillance footage from a residence may have caught the suspect vehicle in the area. It appears to be a dark colored sports car, possibly a Mustang.
Most of the vandalisms were to car windows, but two were residential windows. The roads where these incidents took place include Valley Road, Cedar Valley Road, McCan Drive, Nelson’s Way, Caribou Drive, Meadow Circle and Prince Drive.
Clarksville Police are asking those in the area to check their surveillance videos for footage which might help identify the criminals in the act or provide additional information to the investigation.
