CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Wind gusts in excess of 40 miles per hour downed trees causing scattered power outages throughout the mid-state.
Utility crews were dispatched last night to restore service to the thousands of homes that lost power in Montgomery, Robertson, Stewart, Christian and Todd counties.
#Clarksville area wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected until 3 AM CDT, then winds will drop off as #Alberto moves north. This will cause scatteerd power outages and a few downed trees.

Drivers Caution!. There has been a lot of rain overnight and there is some ponding on the roadways, wires down in a couple of area, and some debris, but no reports of major damage or problems. Just allow yourself a little extra time and keep and eye out for hazards.
