Last Nov. 9-10 the USA National Team, which was composed of eight athletes from Clarksville, represented the USA at the Newton’s North American TaeKwon-Do Championships which took place in Toronto, Canada. These athletes trained hard for six months, first winning the State Championship, qualifying for the National Championship, which they won with honors and earning a pass to the North American Championship 2024.
This team stood out in this event in a prestigious way obtaining a total of 18 awards, including trophies and Championship Belts for USA.

This team has a direct ticket to the 2025 World TaeKwon-Do Championship which will be in San Juan, Puerto Rico during November 14-16. Coach Alfredo Hernandez expressed how proud he is of these athletes and that they will begin training for their next championship in January 2025.
