Fort Campbell, KY. – USO Fort Campbell is hosting its 2nd Annual Community Connections Day, sponsored by Deloitte. The event is on Tuesday June 7 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Valor Hall in Oak Grove. The event is an opportunity to connect military service members and veterans with programs and services throughout the region that they might not encounter every day.

There are tables still open and available for businesses, organizations, and agencies that offer programs and services open to military service members and their families. The programs and services do not necessarily have to be free and they most certainly do not have to be exclusively for military, but the USO is trying to fill the event with high impact, engaging opportunities.

Kari Moore, USO Fort Campbell and USO Nashville Center Director says the organization is looking for info tables that fall into one of eight categories: Employment, Education, Housing, Financial/Legal, Benefits, Wellness/Recreation, Family Strengthening, and Volunteerism.

The event is entirely free – free to host a table, free for veterans to come in and learn about you, and even includes free dinner! Last year, more than 200 service and family members join the USO at the event.
