CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Organizers are still in need of items to help children affected by domestic violence have a brighter holiday season.

Urban Ministries Safehouse provides resources for victims of domestic violence in Clarksville and the surrounding area. During the holidays, the organization collects toys and other items for children staying at the shelter.

As of Saturday, Dec. 22, organizers said toys are still needed for 12 children. Items must be collected before Christmas to bring “Santa’s magic” to these children during a time of need. There are several teenagers.

Toys can be dropped off at Reliant Realty, located at 124 Dunbar Cave Rd. For more information, contact Melissa Powers at 931-494-3015.
