CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The United Way of Greater Clarksville will host their second annual Holiday Hop to support local merchants during the holiday season.
Local merchants, exclusive discounts, silent art auctions, cheery sips and treats will be offered for what’s described as a festive shopping experience in the heart of Downtown Clarksville.
United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region’s second annual Holiday Hop will be held on November 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“This is the perfect event to grab your girl gang, support local businesses, and kick-start the holiday season,” said Elizabeth Conner, owner of Hey Noli. “We love events that attract people downtown. There are so many amazing merchants included in the Holiday Hop this year.”
Over 25 businesses are participating in the event.
Each local store will not only offer a discount, but also a unique holiday treat. Included in the festivities are special brews from Kings Bluff Brewery, a milk and cookies bar, pop-up shops, and holiday-themed samples from Nicoletta’s Catering. Downtown restaurants are also joining the experience and will be offering special priced menu options.
“This event not only raises funds for United Way’s 30+ partner agency programs, it supports local businesses, who are the backbone of our community,” said Sarah Wood, Community Engagement Director for United Way. “Falling perfectly in line with our campaign vision, this event is truly all about community.”
