CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. —United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region hosted its Annual Membership Meeting and Campaign Celebration at Riverview Inn on Tuesday, May 19, to recognize local community superheroes that have joined forces with the local organization throughout the 2014-2015 campaign season.
“We are here today to celebrate those who have joined forces to battle the perils of poverty, bolster the health of our community and provide powerful tools for change. Together, we create a powerful impact and work wonders in the lives of those in need. To quote Robert Clancy, “We all have the capacity to be a superhero. In order to become one, you just have to find your unique power or ability and exploit it for the greater good. We are excited to be able to say thanks a million to each individual, business and organization who made this possible and who make a difference each day in the lives of those we serve, ” said Holleman.
