CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Two Rivers Company has announced Norman Quirion as its new executive director. He will begin working in the capacity of TRC Executive Director effective July 10.
Quirion is a native of Clarksville who has successfully served for the past nine years in multiple positions for the Clarksville Transit System most recently as the marketing coordinator. One of his best-known marketing accomplishments with CTS was the development of the bus wrap advertising program which has served as an impressive revenue source for CTS. Prior to his work as the marketing coordinator, he served at CTS as a maintenance supervisor.
“We are excited about this decision. Norman is known for his high energy and enthusiasm,” said TRC President Charlie Foust. “The TRC board looks forward to seeing him apply those qualities as well as his skills in marketing, networking, and relationship building to promote Clarksville’s downtown district,” he added.
Quirion has served as a past president in Leadership Clarksville, is involved in the Kiwanis, and has participated in Citizens for Fort Campbell.
“Clarksville is my home so I can’t think of anything I’d like to do more than advance this great community and help our downtown area become even more successful. I’m looking forward to the challenge and to being a part of the solution when it comes to supporting business and residents in the downtown district. Simply put its people helping people,” stated Quirion.
The Two Rivers Company is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization focused on enhancing Clarksville, downtown and river district areas.
